Very nice use of coloring for the subject with the BW background. They sure have the best view out of all people! Liang @ 2008-12-22 23:07:40
that's a great way to isolate the subjects.. :) pretty cute subjects too.. and i also agree that they got the best seats in the house.. nice work with this one.. Rian @ 2008-12-23 04:56:26
The photograph is wonderful and your use of selective colouring really shines here. Superb EYES WIDE SHUT @ 2008-12-23 05:15:51
The best view in the house. I love the choice of selective coloring.here - it really brings the focus to the subject, whereas they would have been lost before. Toni @ 2008-12-23 07:31:51
Nice efect. Good tool to select something or some one.Good compsition too. mmolinah @ 2008-12-23 07:47:04

Who thought of making the kids in color and putting the rest in black and white. What a good idea =) T @ 2008-12-23 20:54:35
Innocence and joy in children are so well represented in this shot...what a kind thought you have had... (-; Leila @ 2008-12-24 00:01:08
Fine isolated color. Happy Holidays to you. Jim @ 2008-12-24 12:27:14
I absolutely LOVE the selective coloring, Brian! How delightful! Ginnie @ 2008-12-24 16:46:43
What really makes this pop is that you desaturated the 'bokeh area' and maintained coloring of the in-focus subjects. Great use of a large aperture to establish the shallow DOF. The combination is fantastic. :) Tom @ 2008-12-24 19:23:36
This is a cool effect and it's really well done. Nice shot. Lunamania @ 2008-12-27 23:54:12
