Pommes d'Amour

Pommes d'Amour

Some of the best things to eat in the world is fruit, it's sweet, fresh and healthy. Personally if fruit and candy was put in front of me I'd pick fruit to snack on. I never had much of a sweet tooth growing up, eating healthy was just a normal everyday thing. I have my parents to thank for that! I dunno about you guys but I like to take stems of the tomato's and rub them between my fingers to release that unique smell. If you haven't give it a try sometime when you get the chance, you might like it. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

  • Beautiful, you should be on a "fruit and vegetable PR board". The sharpness and colour of the tomatoes and the soft background makes for a remarkable capture.

  • You've done a good job of capturing the fresh look of these tomatoes. There is nothing like "fresh" fruit and vegetables. Nice shot.

  • I love these kinds of tomatoes. Very nice shot.
    Kay @ 2009-09-20 19:30:00
  • Lovely lighting which brings out those forms so well. The subject stands out well against that background. I wonder, though, how it would look purely against those greens, without the whitish tones on the right. Still a great one!

  • These tomatoes look divine! Excellent capture of them, Brian - really well done.
    Toni @ 2009-09-20 22:07:37

  • I'm with you there...fruit over candy any day of the week! Beautiful shot Brian. I really like the shallow depth and the wonderful bokeh making these beauties stand out all the more. The smell and the taste must have been heavenly.
